Our operating hours are every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00a.m. til 3:00 p.m.

Our services are free of charge, however we do accept free will love offerings to help keep our Center open and available to our Seniors.  There are recepticals at the sign in table and also at the lunch room. 

We also rely on contributions from the local businesses, organizations and the community in the form of sponsors for lunch, donations, and fundraisers.

We have Seniors from all over the local area-including but not limited to Irwin, North Huntingdon, Trafford, Greensburg, East McKeesport, McKeesport-White Oak and more.  

We are a fun loving group of Senior Citizens starting  in age from 50+.  We have people in their  50's, 60's 70's, and 80's and there is something for everyone.  ( you may see an occasional younger but that would be the exception rather than the rule) 

Good question!  No we do not have paid positions.  Everyone here  at the Irwin Senior Activity Center - from our Board of Directors,  our  Activity Director right along to the  ladies that fix lunch - EVERY ONE HERE IS A VOLUNTEER!  

• There is free parking a short walk down on Oak Street to the parking lot at the Immaculate Conception Church. 
• There are metered lots around  the 310 Oak Street address  and metered spots on the street.  The meters take quarters, and FYI parking tickets are $10. 
• Do not park in the alley spots behind the church/these are leased spots for local companies
• Do not park in the privately owned Millers Fleatique lot - tow away zone- that parking is only for 3 business noted on their sign
• In short-  please do not park anywhere other than a metered spot or the Free Lot  at Immaculate Conception.  

The Borough of Irwin does offer parking passes for $25/month  and there is a yearly pass available also.  These can be purchased at  424 Main Street, Irwin, PA.  Call 724-864-3100 for information.  Forms are available at the Center.
