IRWIN SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER

About Us

Several members of the Greater Irwin Area Churches joined together in July 2022 to establish the Irwin Senior Activity Center (ISAC).  Our Center serves Irwin and surrounding communities.  With no paid positions, ISAC is solely funded by donations/fundraising and is fully staffed by dedicated Volunteers from the local area.

The Irwin Senior Activity Center is open to area residents 50 years old and up on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.  We support an extremely active schedule that includes but is not limited to coffee hour,  exercise like - Tai chi, mat and chair yoga, chair Zumba, line dancing, strength training, cardio drumming, pickleball, card playing, crafts, crochet oh, and did we mention lunch, snacks, tastings, ice cream breaks, and we've even had off-site visits to the winery!  The fellowship - well, you make new friends every time you attend.  We are a very welcoming group to visit 1,2, or 3 times a week.

What you can do to support our cause

While our administration is all volunteer, our instructors, entertainment, food, ink, paper, coffee and water supplies, and lunches are not.   Our operating expenses are solely funded by free will love offerings from our attendees as well as donations from companies, local shops, donations from the community at large and fundraisers.  In addition to your prayers for our Activity Center, if you are so led to help support this community-based blessing for our Senior Citizens we would be thrilled to accept your contribution.     Our mailing address is:  IRWIN SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER
